## Summary

Nottingham City Council is initiating a procurement process titled "CPU 1945 Day and Evening Services Accreditation" to establish a framework for accredited organisations capable of delivering day and evening services throughout Nottingham. The procurement, classified under the category of "Other community, social and personal services," involves an open procedure and encompasses a total service value of approximately £35,331,558 per annum, spanning from 23 February 2017 to 22 February 2023. The deadline for submitting completed Accreditation Application Forms was set for 12:00 noon on 18 November 2016.

This tender presents substantial business growth opportunities for organisations that focus on social care and related services, particularly those providing outcome-focused support to vulnerable adults. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are well-positioned to compete, especially those with experience in offering tailored support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or other social care requirements. The accreditation framework encourages application from diverse service providers, enhancing market access for capable suppliers in the social care domain.

## Notice

Nottingham City Council is seeking to establish an open Accreditation of organisations able to deliver Day and Evening Services across the City of Nottingham. The Accreditation will form the mechanism for securing approved and assessed providers able to deliver Day and Evening Services for adults as they are required. The Council will place packages through the Accreditation to meet the needs of adult citizens who meet the eligibility criteria of Nottingham City Council, for the provision of outcome focussed, person centred, day and evening services for vulnerable adults including those with a learning disability, mental health issues, physical disabilities, older people and people with other social care needs (18 years+) with a personal budget. The focus of these services is to increase the Citizens' skills for independence. Once Accredited, providers who are able to provide a required service will be selected to deliver packages on the basis of who can best meet the needs of the citizen, citizen choice and value for money (as detailed in the Accreditation documents). Application Documents can be downloaded from www.eastmidlandstenders.org. The closing date for receipt of completed Accreditation Application Forms is 12 noon on Friday 18 November 2016 to be sent to www.eastmidlandstenders.org. The Accreditation will be in place for three years from February 2016 with the potential to extend for a further three years at the discretion of Nottingham City Council. The total value of the service requirement is approximately PS5,888,593 pa across all service providers. This is a competitive procurement process for social and specific services in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and is a Light Touch Procurement.
