## Summary

Northumbria Police is currently in the Award stage for the tender titled "Evaluation of The Domestic Abuse Whole System Approach Project." This process, classified under evaluation consultancy services, aims to address gaps in domestic abuse services through collaborative efforts funded by over £7.5 million from the Home Office Police Transformation Fund. The tender period concluded on 26th March 2018, with the contract having started on 15th May 2018 and set to end on 30th August 2019. The project is based in Newcastle, located in the North East of England.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in evaluation consultancy services, particularly those experienced in assessing social programmes and partnerships in the public sector. Companies that can demonstrate expertise in domestic abuse service evaluation or have a history of working with police forces or community organisations would be well-positioned to compete. The successful contractor, Cordis Bright Limited, is already engaged in implementing this comprehensive approach to improve services for vulnerable individuals within the community.

## Notice

Northumbria Police and five other Forces have collaborated successfully to secure over PS7.5 million pounds worth of funding years via the Home Office Police Transformation Fund, to protect the most vulnerable in our communities. The funding is being used to implement and embed a number of transformational approaches to best practice in dealing with domestic abuse in line with police, OPCC and partner agency strategic objectives. There are gaps in current domestic abuse services and disjointed practices between agencies that affect the ability to effectively respond to the needs of victims and families. This project seeks to plug these gaps and provide a true whole system approach. The Vision of 'A Whole System Approach' is to transform domestic abuse services by giving police and partner agencies the ability to truly deliver lasting change and provide a template for all police and partnerships to deliver on. Northumbria Police as the Lead Authority is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Contractor who is able to effectively evaluate the impact of programmes / projects within communities across multiple organisations.
