Key areas of expertise and service include: * HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorder (HAND) * Rehabilitation for complex physical conditions * Respite care where patients are admitted to deal with adherence issues, psychological support, nutrition support, step down from hospital care * End of life care * Day services A Market Engagement process was undertaken to ascertain whether there was any interest from other potential capable providers. In line with the CCGs obligations under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and NHS Regulations 2013, the potential contract opportunity was advertised on both OJEU and Contracts Finder for a period of 3 weeks. The advert clearly stated that responses would be used to inform the CCGs commissioning approach and whether a full competitive process would be run. The conclusion of the Market Engagement process is that there is no no benefit to patients or the CCG that could be achieved through competing this service.
