It is envisaged that the service will be delivered predominately within West Berkshire and the surrounding area. The service aims to deliver a safe, high-quality and person-centered care that is pro-active in continuously improving the services. This Lot seeks to accredit up to 8 suppliers for an initial term of 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months as defined at the sole discretion of the Commissioner. Services are scheduled to on the 1st April 2023. The annualised ceiling value of the Lot is PS400,000. Night Sitting refers to care for service users living in their own homes, who will have access to time-limited emergency night sitting between the hours of 22:00 and 07:00. The service will be accessible to service users aged 18 and over who are registered with a GP within Berkshire West. The service will cover Berkshire West localities including West Berkshire, Reading and Wokingham. The service aims to deliver safe, high-quality and personalised care that is pro-active in continuously improving the service and facilitates hospital discharge as well as End of Life care.
