The joint venture will combine the expertise of KBR as a global leader in infrastructure asset management and services with BAE Systems' experience and capability within Portsmouth Naval Base. KBS Maritime are delivering an ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth Naval base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead. Part of the UK Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP), KBS Maritime will provide technology-led and data-driven facilities management and dockside services at the base. The Supplier shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all suppliers and Sub-Contractors visiting site shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes. The Contractor is required to hold minimum of Cyber Essentials Certificate. The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following minimum levels of insurance PS10m Public Liability, PS10m Product Liability, PS5m Professional Indemnity. Survey & Design Scope for Grade II listed Building. To develop through the RIBA 'Plan of Work' Design Stage milestones, up to and including RIBA Design Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination). From previous Technical inspections / appraisals, and quadrennial reports. As a Grade II* listed, all work shall be conducted by suitably skilled heritage contractor(s), using sympathetic materials and techniques, and the need to retain existing features, with all necessary approvals and consents obtained. This will require close discussions with Heritage England and Historic Estates. Full building asset additional survey(s) and report(s), such as Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Infrastructure, Data, etc..., equipment and distribution, and any other required surveys (ecology) to fulfil the design knowledge requirements. Pre-App, and Full planning application (PCC/LPA) to sought during the design. Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) will be requested for planning.
