The four-storey building comprises of 28 self-contained units, providing a total of 121 bed spaces, associated car parking, landscaping and a children's play area. All self-contained units are furnished. As part of the day to day operation of this facility the Council will retain several key functions including; repairs and maintenance rent setting and collection identification and placement of homeless households grounds maintenance and specific fire safety and health & safety compliance responsibilities Under this specification the Council are looking to enter a partnership with a provider who will take on the on-site day to day management of the facility. This includes the provision of a 'front of house' service, forming and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, ensuring compliance with the terms of the occupation agreement, providing cleaning and caretaking services and supporting the Council in ensuring maximum utilisation of all Managed Property. The Service Provider is expected to have cost effective purchasing arrangements in place to replace any specified furniture, furnishings and appliances as part of ensuring maximum utilisation of the facility. Replacement costs will be reimbursed by the Council under the terms of the contract. The management contract is for three years with an option to extend for a further one year by agreement. All interested parties are advised to review the plans for Saviours House which is currently in the construction phase and is due to be handed over to the Council in January 2022. The successful provider will be invited a familiarisation visit as an integral part of 'contract set up'.
