## Summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking a contractor for an Air Quality Monitoring service, which includes twice-annual servicing and responsive repairs for air quality monitoring equipment and air conditioning units. The tender falls under the services category, specifically related to air-conditioning appliances, with a total estimated value of £33,000. The tender period will close on 26 August 2020, and the contract is scheduled to commence on 1 September 2020, lasting until 31 August 2022. Interested bidders should be aware that all fixed prices must account for two years of service, including necessary parts and consumables.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in environmental monitoring and equipment maintenance, particularly those that are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies with expertise in air quality monitoring, air conditioning maintenance, and responsive repair services are well-suited to compete for this contract. By successfully bidding, these businesses can enhance their portfolios and foster long-term relationships with a local authority, potentially leading to further contracts in similar sectors.
