## Summary

Leicester City Council, in collaboration with Leicestershire and Rutland Councils and the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire, is seeking tenders for the "TAN0205 - Sexual & Domestic Violence Service for Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland." This procurement falls within the social work and related services industry category, focusing on providing support for individuals aged 13 and over affected by sexual and domestic violence. The tender period is set to close on 25th June 2015, with the contract anticipated to commence on 1st December 2015, lasting for 40 months, with a possible extension of 24 months.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in social services, psychological support, and community outreach. Companies that can provide comprehensive helpline services and face-to-face support, as well as therapeutic interventions and advocacy, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The collaborative nature of the contract suggests a preference for consortium models, allowing various organisations to pool resources and expertise to deliver a robust service to a vulnerable population.
