The participating forces require an accessible and flexible awarding body that is prepared to provide necessary systems support and value for money. The system for registration, certification and payment must be efficient and minimise bureaucracy. Training will be undertaken at the following sites in Essex and Kent: Essex Police College 'L' Block Kingston Avenue Springfield Chelmsford Essex CM2 6DA Kent Police College Coverdale Avenue Maidstone Kent ME15 9DW Additional Professional Development Units will also be located at Divisional areas for both Essex and Kent.
