## Summary

The procurement process is initiated by NHS South West Commissioning Support for the title "Provision of an Integrated Mental Health Service for Surrey Prisons for NHS England (NHSE)." This tender falls under the health and social work services industry category and is located in the South East of England. Currently, it is at the planning stage, with a key milestone being the engagement end date set for 31st July 2019. Interested parties are invited to express their interest, with the potential for a competitive process based on the Open procedure following this planning phase. The maximum budget allocated for this two-year service contract is £6,012,000, and the services are expected to commence on 1st April 2020. Providers will need to mobilise within two months of this date.

This tender presents significant opportunities for qualified providers specialising in mental health services, particularly those with experience in delivering integrated and trauma-informed care. Businesses that focus on psychological support, substance misuse treatment, and tailored health services for vulnerable populations, such as prisoners, would be well-suited to compete. Given the potential for changes in government policy regarding prison healthcare, bidders should be prepared to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt to evolving requirements throughout the contract period.
