Expressions of interest must be received not later than Friday 3rd February 2017. Essex County Council reserves the right to exclude any provider from the process where their expression of interest was not received prior to this deadline. Engagement activities will commence from the week commencing 6th February 2017. The existing contract includes the provision of commercial vehicles, including vans, minibuses (from 7 seats to 17), mobile libraries and the like. Maintenance and fleet management services are provided under the same contract by a single provider. The existing fleet numbers circa 185 vehicles. Please note: participation or non-participation in the engagement activities will not have any impact on future participation in any formal procurement process that may follow.
