During Years 10 and 11, each young person will participate in an enhanced, increasingly personalised careers programme to support them to explore and compare the full range of post-16 options, including high-quality work experience placements. They will also be involved, along with key stakeholders including parents and carers, in creating a personalised Transition Action Plan to overcome barriers to transition so they can receive sustained and targeted support as they prepare for their chosen post- 16 destination and during their first 6 months within it.
