## Summary

The University of Nottingham is currently in the planning stage for a procurement titled "Curriculum Design & Assessment (CDA)." This process, classified under the software package and information systems category (CPV code 48000000), seeks to refresh the university's understanding of available solutions and costs. The engagement end date for suppliers is set for 19 July 2021, with written responses due by 16 July 2021 at noon. The location of the procurement is Nottingham, England, specifically at the university's Kings Meadow Campus.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that have expertise in educational technologies or software solutions. These businesses would be well-suited to compete, as they can provide the innovative products and services needed to enhance curriculum design and assessment processes at the University of Nottingham. The project aims to integrate technology that supports not only current needs but also positions the university for future advancements, thus creating a promising landscape for suppliers in the education technology sector.

## Notice

The University of Nottingham is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of refreshing our understanding of the available solutions and the related costs of procuring and delivering these. The information provided will inform our Business Case for change and associated funding before we schedule projects to formally procure and deliver the right solutions for the University. The University of Nottingham's aim for the future is to nurture students who, through their curriculum, learning, and the ways they are assessed, are equipped for the world of work, as well as for life-long learning. Our hope is that this project will put us in a good position to lead the sector by securing the right technologies, without which the full benefits of improved CDA will not be realised. Together, CDA and these enabling technologies will grow our capability to make a step change in our practice and also ensure that the digital solutions we design represent best value and future, rather than current practice. Programme Overview To assist with the phasing of procurement and implementation, our programme has 6 strands of delivery which can be find and downloaded via the E procurement system at the following link https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofnottingham/aspx/Home Suppliers have the option to provide information separately for these 6 strands as per RFI documentation below. Written responses should be submitted via the University of Nottingham's electronic tendering system by 16/07/2021 12 noon. The University is looking for prompt responses from potential suppliers and therefore we ask that any RFI submissions can be submitted as soon as they have been completed to allow the University to process this information promptly.
