## Summary

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking tenders for the "Provision of an Information Advice and Support Service" to support parents, carers, children, and young people with special educational needs (SEN). This tender process is currently active and falls under the services category within the community action programme industry. The contract is set to begin on 1st October 2017 and will run for three years, with a potential one-year extension. Interested organisations must submit their tender applications by 12 noon on 13th September 2017, with requests for application packs due by 6th September 2017.

This procurement opportunity presents a significant avenue for growth for businesses experienced in delivering SEN support services. Suppliers that provide legal, advisory, and advocacy services for educational needs would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. With an emphasis on high-quality, impartial support, organisations that can demonstrate expertise in navigating SEN law and provide effective communication with stakeholders will be favoured in the selection process. This is an excellent chance for SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) to engage in public service, especially within the London region.
