## Summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking suppliers for the "PQ0252 - Homeless Transition Worker Service," aimed at delivering targeted support for vulnerable adults transitioning to independent living. This procurement process, classified under community service provision, is at the Award stage, with the total contract value of £178,073 shared between two awarded suppliers, SIFA Fireside and St Basils. The contract commenced on 5th October 2020 and will run for one year, ending on 4th October 2021. The deadline for quotation submissions was 25th September 2020, and the service will be provided across Birmingham.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in social work and community health services, particularly those offering support to vulnerable populations. Firms that can provide skilled workers for direct engagement with homeless individuals, especially targeting young people aged 16-25 and adults over 25, will find a conducive environment to compete. As the contract aims to address heightened demands due to the COVID-19 situation, companies focused on health and social work, as well as accommodation services, will be particularly well-suited to collaborate with Birmingham City Council in this essential initiative.
