This open procurement process, conducted under EU regulations, aims to finalize tenders by 12 noon on 16th August 2019. The AMRC North West is also undertaking research within various manufacturing topics in the aerospace sector, specifically in the area of dimensional metrology of additively manufactured parts. Within the facility there will be various manufacturing technologies and the CMM will be focused on undertaking measurement in support of this research. This specification is aimed at purchasing a single CMM for use at the AMRC North West. It is expected that suppliers will provide long term support for the equipment including application engineering, CMM programming and software upgrades.
