As an integral part of the Phoenix 10 Project, Walsall Council is contractually obliged to procure on behalf of itself and Homes England (HE) [jointly 'The Landowners'] and Henry Boot Developments Limited (HBD Ltd) Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance, comprising Combined Coverage for Site-Specific Pollution Legal Liability (SPL) - Pre-Existing Pollution Conditions Only (Claims-Made) and Project Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) - New Pollution Conditions (Occurrence) Insurance to cover the Phoenix 10 site during the remediation period and for a period of 10 years following remediation. The minimum initial policy period required for the Site-Specific Pollution Legal Liability (SPL) insurance is 10 years This procurement is for the Environmental Liability insurance which will be placed by the Council's existing advisors and brokers. Additional information: This is pre-market engagement for a new Contract opportunity that will be advertised in the near future.
