## Summary

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport is conducting an open tender for a project titled "Peer Review of Digital Infrastructure Model." This procurement falls under the telecommunication consultancy services industry and is situated in London, UK. The tender period is set to close on 15 April 2020, with the contract anticipated to commence on 20 April 2020 and conclude by 30 April 2020. The estimated value of the contract is £25,000, with a minimum requirement of £10,000. The tender seeks to obtain a peer review of a modelling approach regarding gigabit-capable connectivity cost estimates, requiring a comprehensive report detailing strengths, issues, and improvements of the methodology used.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and organisations involved in telecommunications consultancy and performance review services to enhance their business footprint. Competitors with expertise in technical analysis and consultancy, particularly those who can provide insightful critiques and recommendations based on previous work, will find this opportunity well-suited. Businesses capable of addressing the expectations outlined in the tender can leverage this engagement to not only secure a contract but also build a reputation in the digital infrastructure sector.

## Notice

NOTE: This notice was updated on 03 April 2020 for the following reason: Delta Access Code - R6X3799QYP(As part of the Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review we developed an LSOA (Lower Layer Super Output Area) level model to estimate the coverage and costs of gigabit-capable connectivity. We are seeking a peer review to examine whether our modelling approach and cost estimates are fit for purpose. The peer review should be written up in a report. The report should include the following: -Highlighting the strengths of the modelling approach and questions for which the model seems well suited to answering -Highlighting any issues with the current methodology and questions for which the modelling seems less well suited to answering -Recommending any improvements to the methodology and input assumptions. - Where alternative input assumptions are suggested a source should also be provided - Ideally we should be able to quote the assumptions in non-confidential documents -A comparison of the outputs of this model with work that you have previously done or have access to.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
