Organisations wishing to tender for these services must be approved to participate in the competition by making a successful request to participate in the system by no later than 17th May 2022. Providers already successfully registered on the dynamic purchasing system need not reapply. The Council intends to run the competition for services in June 2022. Suppliers should be aware that the Council intends to tender for each route separately i.e. the bids for each route will be assessed separately. Suppliers may therefore bid for more routes than they have capacity i.e. you may bid for more routes than you have vehicles (of the correct type) and drivers. The Council intends to use an optimisation technique to minimise its costs across the routes in line with the bids made and identified capacity. The Council intends to hold a market engagement event in relation to the tender of services on 25th May 2022.
