## Summary

The Newcastle City Council is planning a tender for "Support and Accommodation Services for young people aged 16-18 years" with the aim of developing a Framework for unregulated supported accommodation. The market consultation event is set to take place on 14 November 2017 at The Mansion House in Newcastle upon Tyne, with a deadline for booking places by 12pm on 13 November 2017. This procurement process falls under the health and social work services industry category and seeks to engage suppliers who can provide quality accommodation and support tailored to young people's needs.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses involved in health and social care, particularly those focused on supported housing and social services for young people. Companies that can offer innovative accommodation solutions, along with effective support services, will be well-suited to compete. The engagement event aims to equip potential providers with the necessary information to prepare for the upcoming competitive tender, ultimately fostering collaboration and improving service delivery for young individuals transitioning to adulthood.
