## Summary

The Lancashire County Council has initiated a tender for the "Re-opening of the Lancashire Tier 4 Substance Misuse Framework," which aims to refresh the existing health and social care services for adults with substance misuse issues in the Lancashire area. The tender, classified under health and social work services, is part of an open procurement process and is currently in the active stage, with a submission deadline set for 7th March 2017. The total estimated value of the contract is £2,700,000, and the services are expected to commence on 1st June 2017, running until 3rd January 2023.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for health and social care providers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, to compete for a substantial contract to deliver services that promote recovery from substance misuse. Businesses that can offer innovative solutions for detoxification, rehabilitation, and community integration are particularly well-suited to engage in this tender. By securing a place on this framework, providers can contribute to positive outcomes for service users while expanding their market presence within the health and social care sector in the North West of England.
