## Notice

Highways England is seeking to appoint contractors to deliver intrusive pavement surveys. Surveys include but are not limited to: - coring of pavements to determine the pavement structure, layer thicknesses and condition as well as the extent of pavement deterioration; - trial pitting and sampling by hand or mechanically, including the location and identification of utilities and services; - dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP); - excavation round vehicle restraint systems (VRS) posts to check condition; - laboratory testing of samples to determine physical properties. Further details can be found in the Information Memorandum. Additional information: The Selection Questionnaire has been launched on the Bravo e-sourcing system. Instructions for registering and using the Bravo system are provided below. 1) Register your company on the eSourcing portal - browse to the eSourcing Portal: https://highways.bravosolution.co.uk and click link to register; - accept T&C's and click 'continue'; - enter your correct business and user details; - note username you chose and click 'Save' when complete; - you will receive an email with unique password (please keep this secure). 2) Express Interest in tender - login to portal with the username/password; - click 'PQQs/ITTs Open to All Suppliers' link. (These are pre-qualification questionnaires or invitations to tender open to any registered supplier); - click on relevant PQQ/ITT to access content; - click the 'Express Interest' button at the top of this page; - this will move the PQQ/ITT into your 'My PQQs/My ITT's' page. (This is secure area reserved for your projects only); - you can access attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in 'PQQ/ITT Details' box. 3) Responding to tender - click 'My Response' under 'PQQ/ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining); - the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek clarification; - note deadline for completion, then follow the instructions to complete the PQQ/ITT; - there may be a mixture of online/offline actions to perform (there is detailed online help available).
