## Summary

The Hampshire County Council is inviting experienced providers to tender for advocacy services for vulnerable adults and children in Hampshire and Southampton. The procurement is currently at the Award stage following an open procedure for two distinct service lots, with a total contract value of £7,520,000. The contract period is set to commence on 1st April 2020 and run until 31st March 2022, with the option for extensions. The locations involved in this procurement are Hampshire and the city of Southampton, categorised under social work services without accommodation (CPV Code: 85312000).

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in advocacy services, particularly those focused on mental health, children’s services, and support for individuals with learning disabilities. Small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), are particularly well-suited to compete due to the public service nature of the contract. Successful bidders will be involved in delivering crucial advocacy, including Independent Mental Health Advocacy and Care Act Advocacy, thus contributing to positive social outcomes within the community.
