The intention is that this framework will encompass and deliver general building and refurbishment, or improvement works on projects typically between the values of PS25K and PS250K. Predominantly the framework will involve working with our existing buildings and the work may be of a multi-disciplinary nature, whereby the contractors on the framework will be expected to, and capable of, managing their own sub-contractors on a project by project basis (no more that 50% of the work to be sub-contracted). With effect from 1 August 2018, the University, has reviewed its governance and income and determined that it is not a 'contracting authority' for the purposes of the EU public procurement regime (Directives 2014/24/EU and 2014/23/EU as implemented in the UK by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016).
