## Summary

Forestry England has initiated a public procurement process titled "Civil Engineering Construction Framework" aimed at civil engineering projects. This contract, valued at £10,000,000, is categorised under complete or part construction and civil engineering work, specifically associated with the CPV code 45200000. The contract is divided into eight geographic lots, allowing a maximum of four suppliers per lot. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, with the tender period having closed on 31 May 2021, while the contract period is set to commence on 10 June 2021 and extend to 9 June 2022. The operations will primarily take place in the North West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the civil engineering and construction sectors. Companies that can demonstrate the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and possess the necessary resources are encouraged to participate. Given that the framework is accessible to suppliers capable of bidding for any or all lots, firms specialising in areas such as groundworks, landscaping, and infrastructure development, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), would be ideally suited to compete for these contracts. Successful bidders will benefit not only from immediate project awards but also from the potential for long-term collaborations with Forestry England.

## Notice

Forestry England intend to award a framework contract for civil engineering construction. The framework is divided into 8 geographic lots, with a maximum of 4 Suppliers per lot. Suppliers may bid for any, or all, of the framework lots however they must be able to demonstrate that they have the appropriate capacity and resources to undertake any required works, concurrently, across the selected lots. If you bid for more lots than your capacity permits you must clearly state in your tender the maximum number of lots you wish to be awarded. We will use this information during our evaluation if a bidder has been successful in more lots than their capacity. The final award of lots is at our discretion, based on the offer that represents the Most Economically Advantageous Tender.
