The open day intends to inform Contractors about the New 2015-2019 Capital Construction Framework which will replace the Capital Projects Delivery Framework from 2016. The existing framework has been used to commission over PS140m of construction and civil engineering works and a similar volume of work is likely for the new framework. As such this open day represents a real opportunity for contractors (from SME's to Large Multi Nationals) to provide their valuable input at the pre-procurement stage helping to inform and shape key aspects of the new framework prior to the issue of the OJEU contract notice. Once the framework is established in 2016, it will for the next four years provide capital construction and civil engineering works and related services to Cornwall Council and other public sector clients.
