## Summary

The Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking to establish a Geospatial Capabilities Framework through an open tender process. The contract, which is valued at £1,750,000 and falls under the category of architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services, is aimed at supporting international development and humanitarian response activities. The tender period closed on 17th September 2021, with the contract commencing on 1st November 2021 and running until 31st October 2023. Interested suppliers were required to respond swiftly, as initial responses may need to be provided within just 48 hours.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in geospatial analysis, Earth observation, and GIS capabilities, particularly those equipped to provide rapid solutions and a range of services including machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. Companies focusing on data modelling, cartography, and geospatial intelligence would benefit greatly from this tender, especially those able to support diverse projects in international development and humanitarian efforts, thereby helping to expand their operational reach and expertise in a growing market.
