## Summary

The Arts Council England has completed a procurement process titled "Framework Agreement for Security Consultants in support of the GIS." This initiative falls under the services industry category, specifically in investigation and security services, with a total contract value of £220,833. The contract began on 2nd January 2018 and is set to conclude on 31st March 2019. The open procurement method was adopted for this tender, which was previously open until 13th November 2017.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses looking to expand in the security consultancy sector, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that specialise in security and risk assessments, especially those with experience supporting cultural institutions, would be well-positioned to compete for future tenders and collaborations with organisations like the Arts Council England.

## Notice

The purpose of this Procurement was to establish a Framework Agreement of up to 6 Contractors to provide Security Consultants to carry out ad-hoc security and risk assessments in support of the work of Arts Council England's (ACE) National Security Adviser for the Government Indemnity Scheme. The Security Consultants will support the National Security Adviser to ensure that institutions intending to use Government Indemnity for loans are able to comply with the Scheme conditions, as set out in Annex D and E of the Scheme Guidelines (see non-national institution guidelines at http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/protecting-cultural-objects/government-indemnity-scheme).
