## Summary

Surrey County Council (SCC) is in the planning stage for a Market Engagement Event focused on Independent Alternative Provision, scheduled for 4th December 2024. This event will be held at Woodhatch Place in Reigate, England, specifically for discussing the next tender window of their Independent Alternative Provision Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The primary objective is to gather input from experienced providers in this sector and to provide guidance on the procurement process. The engagement end date is also on 4th December 2024, and the overarching industry category is primary, secondary, and special education services, as well as youth education and tutorial services.

This market engagement presents significant business growth opportunities for organisations specialising in Independent Alternative Provision, particularly those offering one-to-one support, community-based services, and specialist therapies. Providers experienced with tutoring, post-16 support services, and services supporting children's additional needs are well-suited to compete in this procurement process. Surrey County Council welcomes collaboration and partnerships within a lead provider model, making it an ideal opportunity for SMEs and VCSEs. Attendance is limited to three attendees per organisation, and participants are encouraged to register in advance.

Surrey County Council (SCC) is looking to further develop its Independent Alternative Provision Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) and would like to hear from organization's who have experience in this area of provision. This is not an invitation to tender. Following the previous Market Engagement Workshops and events in 2023/2024 and culminating to the first successful opening of the DPS and round two going live in December 2024, Surrey County Council warmly invites you to take part in our Market Engagement Event for potential and existing providers of Independent Alternative provision.
