The MoD are driving to improve the quality of equipment and platform data they hold. For this contract, we are asking industry to develop output specification for the NSN's contained within this requirement. An output specification is a qualitative specification, detailing the NSN's high-level functional and physical performance characteristics, test and inspection criteria and permissible tolerances following in-depth repair activities. It is not the same as a repair specification, which would detail all steps taken for repair. For further detail, please see the slide pack attached to the PQQ. Prospective contractors are required to hold Quality Management System certification to ISO 9001:2015 or suitable alternative, with the appropriate scope to deliver contract requirements, issued by a Nationally Accredited Certification Body.
