## Summary

The Croydon Council is currently leading a public procurement process titled "SLCP Residential and Independent Fostering Agency Provision" in the health and social work services industry, specifically aimed at delivering residential and Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) services for children and young people aged 0-18 years. This procurement falls under the Light Touch Regime rules of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and will be executed through an open procedure. The tender period ends on 11 November 2019, with the resulting Approved Provider Panel Agreement (APPA) set to span eight years, starting from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2028. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on providing fostering and residential care services, particularly those with experience in child welfare and social services. Companies of all sizes, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are encouraged to apply, as the council aims to engage multiple providers for these critical services. This initiative not only allows for growth within the fostering sector but also contributes to the enhancement of services available to vulnerable children and young people in the London area, creating a vital impact for all stakeholders involved.
