The successful supplier will: o Review and develop specific tree policies related to planning, housing, highways, and parks. o Develop specific tree strategies (risk, cyclical proactive management, reactive management, emergency works, linking with our climate change action plan) o Develop a management standards document and approach for the various aspects of delivery o Scope the actions required to develop an Urban Forestry Master Plan and supporting documents o Scope the delivery of a sustainable tree planting programme, aligned with SMBC goals and Climate Change Action Plan goals The successful supplier will have experience of working with Local Authorities and public sector organisations on tree and urban forestry policy, planning and approaches, as well as best practice.
