Once Kent Police have a greater understanding of what is available and what it requires it is anticipated that it will undertake a full procurement process to identify a preferred supplier. Kent Police are undertaking soft market testing in relation to a digital asset management system. Kent Police are inviting interested suppliers to submit details of their product that meets the digital asset management requirements outlined above and in the draft specification. These may be followed by further engagement in early 2017 at Kent Police College, Coverdale Avenue, Maidstone, ME15 9DW to demonstrate the product and answer follow-up questions. Further details of this engagement will be provided in due course. Kent Police are interested to see what the market has to offer. Please submit documents that describe your digital asset management software, detailing the following: (1) How your software delivers the requirements in the draft specification (2) Potential costs (set up and ongoing costs) (3) Security features (4) How the digital evidence file can be linked to a digital case file (5) Flexibility and versatility of metadata.
