## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service is currently managing a tender titled "RM3838 Robotic Process Automation Partnership," aimed at enhancing the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) within UK central government departments. This tender falls within the programming services of application software industry category. The procurement is at the Tender stage, with a deadline for responses set for 16 June 2017. The contract period is provisionally scheduled to commence on 31 July 2017 and will last for a maximum of three years, with a potential break point after two years. The estimated value of the contract is £400 million, and the tender follows a selective procurement method under a restricted procedure.

This opportunity is ideal for businesses with significant experience in developing RPA applications, particularly those that can demonstrate a successful track record. Companies willing to invest in RPA technology and partnerships with government entities will find this contract attractive for growth, especially in the tech services sector. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as their involvement aligns with the goals of the procurement process, which aims to foster innovation and efficiency in public sector operations.

## Notice

It is seeking a partner or partners that will help run a programme of education and demonstration of the potential of RPA and help departments build business cases. All services will be provided by the partner to the Authority and the Authority will establish a cross-charge mechanism with the relevant departments via an MOU. Under the terms of the contract the partner will be able to build RPA applications for departments and either be paid for development and deployment or be paid out of benefits. Potential partners should have a substantial track record of successful development and be prepared to invest in this opportunity.
