## Notice

3.1 The University is seeking to engage with an organisation to assist with its aim of implementing a Learning Capture System. The aim is to provide a roadmap for the establishment and provision of a new software Learning Capture (Personal Capture and Classroom Capture) service across multiple UK campuses of the University of Reading, that will:- 3.1.1 enable the digital recording of learning in both teaching spaces and in individual spaces 3.1.2 capture the screen, audio and video of the staff member, in both Personal Capture and Classroom Capture settings 3.1.3 provide storage and delivery of the recordings for use in learning. 3.1.4 practical and technical support for staff to use these technologies 3.1.5 support and guide staff and students to make best use of learning capture to enhance their teaching and learning. 3.1.6 disability and accessibility requirements will be met. 3.2 Classroom Capture is defined as the video capture of taught content in a classroom or lecure theatre setting with a live audience. 3.3 Personal Capture is defined as the video capture of taught content at an individuals desk from their own devide, without a live audience. 3.4 The University-wide solution will generate, store and deliver learning capture recordings (Personal Capture and Classroom Capture content) through a single, fully supported system, which will deliver a consistent service and delivery model: 3.4.1 Classroom Capture would be undertaken using a single system that is provided and supported by the University. 3.4.2 Capture would be undertaken and supported through the same system. 3.5 This system will provide an easy to navigate user interface for staff and students and integrate with our VLE to allow students to access content from within their VLE course area. 3.6 The Learning Capture will integrate seamlessly with the VLE systems to provide access for students to view the captured sessions.
