This contract will commence immediately and complete by 31 March 2019 and will result in a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations. Successful applicants will be required to work with Birmingham City Council teams in Information Technology & Digital (IT&D) Services and Adult and Social Care, as well as with partners from Worcestershire County Council and Solihull MBC and will be reporting directly to Head of Business Engagement, IT& D. They will require expertise in the following areas: o Creation and delivery of digital healthcare in general and for people living in the community, especially older adults o Experience with sensors and how they can be integrated with care in the community o A strong research record in digital healthcare o Experience with training carers in health technologies o Machine learning and artificial intelligence expertise with a record of using them in healthcare o Links with service users and providers within the partners' catchment areas o Good links with companies providing sensors and digital platforms for supporting their use o A background in computer science and software engineering.
