## Summary

The procurement process pertains to the "Pharmacy Partners DPS: Tender Round 1" initiated by the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which serves the healthcare industry in Birmingham and Solihull. The dynamic purchasing system was established in 2016 for community-based sexual health services, with contracts from this tender awarded amounting to £1,518,939 and expiring on 31 August 2020. The procurement method utilized is a selective approach through a call-off from the previously established dynamic purchasing system. All contract obligations were set to commence on 1 April 2017 and ran until the stipulated end date.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the healthcare sector, particularly for SMEs and local pharmacy operators seeking to expand their service offerings in community health. With the nature of the services required, companies specialising in pharmacy services, health consultations, and community health programmes would be particularly well-suited to compete. The ongoing demand for sexual health services provides a framework for growth in this specialised market, making it an attractive proposition for prospective suppliers.
