All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal.** This requirement is for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of the NMR Spectrometer for the use in the ISIS Deuteration Facility at UKRI STFC- Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. The UKRI-STFC ISIS Deuteration Facility supports ISIS Users experiments by providing deuterated compounds for use within beamline experiments. The group is responsible for the synthesis of simple and more often large complex compounds. Part of this, it is required to analyse the samples produced before handing over to the users. The type of samples produced range from simple perdeuterated fatty acids to complex surfactants where it is required to determine where the deuterium has been incorporated. With the group expanding and an increase in demand for more complex molecules, they require their own instrument to carry out this analysis. Most of the samples produced are perdeuterated, and therefore a dedicated 2H channel is required. Detailed NMR Spectrometer requirements are defined in the attached document,UK SBS PR19047 Specification. Additional information: 1. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. 2. Please note that, to register, Bidders must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Note: registration may take some time please ensure that you allow a sufficient amount of time to register. Once you have registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk . Crown Commercial Service (CCS) will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. 4. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. 5.
