## Summary

The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is seeking a contractor for the "Operation & Maintenance of the National Offshore Anemometry Hub" project, which is classified under the services sector, specifically focusing on the repair and maintenance of floating platforms. The procurement process has reached the award stage, with the contract awarded on 23rd November 2020, and has a total value of £959,127.73, effective from 24th November 2020 until 31st October 2025. Interested parties should note that the initial contract period spans three years, with a potential two-year extension based on performance. This tender offers a potential market for businesses capable of delivering robust operational and maintenance services in the UK and beyond, involving delivery to locations such as the British Overseas Territories and other parts of Europe.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for SMEs that specialise in marine services, particularly those with expertise in operating and maintaining offshore structures. Businesses that can provide both the technical skills and infrastructure needed to support the National Offshore Anemometry Hub’s operational requirements would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, companies involved in research and development within renewable energy and offshore technologies may find avenues for collaboration as part of the contract's ongoing activities. Engaging in this contract could help these businesses expand their portfolio and establish a strong foothold in the growing renewable energy industry.
