## Summary

The Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has concluded the procurement process for a Medical Equipment Managed Maintenance Service, awarding the contract to Draeger Medical UK Ltd Primary on 21st October 2025. This procurement, using an open procedure above the threshold, aims to manage and maintain all medical equipment at the Trust, alongside community and satellite sites. The contract, valued at £27,410,592, began on 1st October 2025 and will span until 30th September 2035. Key delivery locations include the East Midlands and East of England, with a focus on repairing and maintaining medical equipment under CPV classification 50421000.

This tender presents growth opportunities for large-scale businesses specialising in medical equipment maintenance, particularly those who can provide 24/7 service coverage and have the capacity to support a large asset base. The extended duration of the contract offers substantial potential revenue over ten years, promoting long-term business stability. Companies interested in sustainable practices that minimise environmental impacts, as aligned with the Trust's goal towards net zero, may find this contract in line with their corporate objectives. Although the procurement stage is complete, similar future tenders can serve as growth avenues for enterprises prepared to deliver expansive support services in line with NHS standards.
