A confiscation order is made in the Crown Court after conviction to deprive the defendant of their benefit from crime. The exercise aims to identify and explore opportunities for public-private partnerships in the enforcement of confiscation orders. This exercise is separate to previous activity conducted by other government departments and will be seeking feedback on specific proposals beyond debt considered problematic to enforce. An engagement event will be held via MS Teams webinar on 30th November 2021. The attachments area of the PQQ contains an introductory information pack. For the avoidance of doubt, the use of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is used solely for the purposes of expressions of interest and to act as a system mechanism for sharing information and communicating with interested parties. There is no requirement to complete a questionnaire or submit information.
