These reports must comply with and satisfy the prevailing requirements and guidelines of the European Regional Development Fund ("ERDF"), which part-funds the CWBGP: ERDF Project Reference No. 03R16P00627. UEDU Ltd is hosted by and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Chester. The Cheshire & Warrington Business Growth Programme (CWBGP) provides a range of support to both potential entrepreneurs wishing to start a business, as well as new and established businesses within the Cheshire and Warrington area that meet the SME definition and ERDF eligibility criteria. Registered beneficiaries receive support which includes a bespoke 365 review of the business/proposed business idea; barriers being faced and provides an assessment of their needs and activities under the project (and any referral to outside support). Support could be access to either stand-alone and/or a programme-linked series of workshops around thematic topics, such as leadership and management, business planning, marketing etc., as well as one to one mentoring and networking opportunities.
