One of the main aims of both projects is to "gather evidence and develop our knowledge around NFM where there are currently knowledge gaps". This contract specifically aims to meet the following objective: * To collect data which can be used to assess the impact NFM measures have on river flows and levels, specifically during high and low flow events. To ensure a joined up monitoring approach is adopted between Councils, the Councils are working in partnership to conduct this joint procurement. Herefordshire Council are the lead organisation for this procurement process. Two contracts will be awarded through this tender, one with Herefordshire Council and one with Worcestershire County Council. Additional information: Upon completion of the initial term of the contract (end date 31st March 2021), at the sole discretion of Herefordshire Council and Worcestershire County Council a further 5 year extension may be utilised for the maintenance of the equipment only.
