## Summary

The Forestry Commission, operating as Forestry England, has announced a planning stage procurement process for "Bedgebury Concession Opportunities". This contract aims to explore potential concession installations at Bedgebury National Pinetum in England. Forestry England is currently in the market engagement phase, with plans to conclude by 7th March 2025. The focus of this initiative is on recreational, cultural, and sporting services, as classified under CPV code 92000000. Interested parties are invited to participate in the early engagement to shape future tender documentation by providing feedback on appropriate activities or services that align with the forestry environment and visitor profile. The delivery address for the opportunity is TN17 2SJ.

This tender invites companies, particularly SMEs and VCSEs, to engage with Forestry England in identifying and suggesting concessions that would integrate well with the existing environment at Bedgebury National Pinetum. The project encompasses various commercial uses for buildings and outdoor spaces, with existing concessions including a café, high ropes adventure, and educational providers. This setting promises opportunities for businesses in the recreation, culture, and sporting sectors to expand their presence, harness peak visitor times during weekends and school holidays, and potentially attract new visitors. Companies are encouraged to register their interest and direct inquiries to Emily Coffin at emily.coffin@forestryengland.uk.
