## Summary

The Centre for Process Innovation Limited is seeking tenders for a software solution focused on requirements management for their ongoing development of a quality management system. Titled "2140 - Requirements Management Software," this procurement falls under the medical equipment and software industry categories. The procurement is currently in the tendering stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 1st July 2021. The contract period is expected to commence on 2nd August 2021 and will run for four years, concluding on 1st August 2025. The estimated value of the contract is £189,330, with a minimum value of £25,000, reflecting an open procedure below threshold.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in software development, particularly those with expertise in medical equipment and quality management systems. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to apply, as the project aims to enhance the capabilities of healthcare technology. Companies that can demonstrate a solid history in developing ISO 13485-compliant solutions or have experience in the medical device sector would be well-suited to compete for this contract, facilitating their growth and strengthening their market presence.

## Notice

The construction and commissioning of the new National Healthcare Photonics Centre was completed in early 2019, with the development of an EN ISO 13485 certified quality management system in development. A process for requirements management must continue to be in place, and it is intended that a software solution procured to continue to cover this requirement. This ISO 13485 certification underpins the National Centre for Healthcare Photonics' business activity in progressing from the initial concept of a medical device, through developing a prototype, to putting together a complete manufacturing design, and pilot manufacture. Please see the Tender Pack in relation to CPI's detailed requirements.
