The new Isle of Man ferry terminal project in Liverpool will involve design and construction of works in a variety of engineering disciplines including: - ground works and remediation, - building construction, - building services, - civil engineering - highways and - marine engineering. The service will be provided in two periods: - on-site construction works. - post completion of the construction works. The NEC Site Supervisor will be expected to have knowledge and experience in one or more of the above disciplines and have his/her technical competence acknowledged by a recognised professional body for example: - The Institution of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology - The Institution of Civil Engineers, - The Institution of Structural Engineers, - Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers The successful tenderer will be responsible for providing the service with a named individual performing the role of the NEC Site Supervisor. The role will require the individual to work on site where construction and engineering works will take place over an extended period of time. Continuity and availability of appropriately qualified and experienced consultants are considered crucial for the successful delivery of the service and the project.
