## Summary

The Natural History Museum, located in London, is currently undertaking a tender process for the project titled "Diplodocus carnegii and Hypsilophodon foxii Replicas". This initiative is part of their Urban Nature Project aimed at enhancing the museum's outdoor areas. The procurement method chosen is a selective approach, incorporating a negotiated procedure. The tender period is active and will conclude on 4th May 2020. The expected contract duration is from 1st August 2020 to 31st May 2022, with the project classified under services provided by sculptors (CPV code 92312230).

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in sculpting and replica manufacturing, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Companies that can showcase expertise in creating large-scale sculptures and installations would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Engaging with this project not only allows businesses to gain visibility through collaboration with a prestigious institution like the Natural History Museum but also fosters growth through the development of unique exhibits that aim to engage a diverse audience.

## Notice

In line with our new Vision and Strategy to 2031, the Natural History Museum is looking to help transform the study of natural history, engage and involve the widest possible audience, and develop our galleries and grounds. Our priority project is the Urban Nature Project, which involves the transformation of the 5-acres of gardens outside the Waterhouse Building. A major feature of the new design will be the installation of life size replicas of key specimens such as the Diplodocus carnegii and Hypsilophodon foxii. As a result, the Museum is inviting requests to participate in a competitive process for a contract for the development, manufacture and installation of these replicas.
