## Summary

The procurement process involves the commissioning of Perinatal Mental Health Peer Support Services by Attain on behalf of multiple Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across Essex. The titled initiative aims to support mental health services for parents, children, and families and is part of a broader strategy aligned with NHS Long Term Plan ambitions. This direct procurement method, under a single tender action, has an awarded contract value of £244,890. The contract period commenced on 1st January 2022 and is set to conclude by 31st March 2023, with the evaluation phase of the service development ongoing.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses focused on health services, mental health support, and community welfare. Companies, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprises (VCSEs), would be well-suited to compete for similar contracts as they can potentially leverage their local knowledge, connection to communities, and capabilities in delivering support services. Engaging in the evaluation and potential continuation of such essential health services can contribute significantly to business growth in the public sector ecosystem.
