Responses to requests for service will involve visiting complainants' premises, witnessing from within what is being complained about, assessing whether it constitutes a statutory nuisance, making notes of and taking noise readings/recording in such a way as they are admissible as evidence, and in a small number of cases where a widespread statutory nuisance arises from e.g. an audible intruder alarm, serving enforcement notices, obtaining warrants and organising works in default. The successful tenderer would obtain the services and oversee the works in default. The works in default would be undertaken by approved contractors such as alarm/locksmith/vehicle recovery companies, and are not included within the scope of this contract.
