Getting people to the right place at the right time is essential to the smooth operation of any transport network. 2.2 What we are buying and why A bus timetabling and publicity ICT solution. 2.3 What we require: the solution The Strategic Transport team is customer focused and committed to delivering an excellent service to its residents in the provision of public transport information across the borough. This is successfully achieved through maintaining roadside information at bus stops, producing timetables leaflets and travel information for bus stations, alongside providing regular updates to Traveline. The system must be intuitive and flexible to ensure the efficient delivery of public transport at a local or national. The Council has embraced a cloud-first approach as part of its IT strategy and prefer where possible, the sourcing of solutions that will be offered to the customer as Software as a Service (SaaS).
